Vietnamese taxi company uses VinFast VF e34 electric car

The first VF e34s in the batch of 50 cars ordered from VinFast are used by Lado Taxi for passenger transport services at Lien Khuong airport (Lam Dong).

The first batch of VF e34 was handed over by VinFast to a taxi company based in Ho Chi Minh City on May 31. The total number of vehicles ordered by this company is 5, used for passenger transport services. Sharing about the decision to use electric taxis, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Dong, Director of Dong Thuy Company Limited, said that VF e50 has 34 advantages.

First is cost. According to this business's calculations, VF e34 can help optimize many types of costs. “In the current context of rising gasoline prices, using electric vehicles helps save significant costs. In addition, the Government's registration fee exemption policy helps businesses choose electric cars more practically," Mr. Dong said.

Next is durability, this is the factor that transportation businesses put first when choosing a vehicle. VinFast representative said that compared to the complex transmission system of gasoline cars, electric motors have a simpler structure, businesses will not have to worry about repairing worn-out machine parts. In addition, the company offers a warranty policy of 10 years or 200.000 km, a significant advantage compared to conventional gasoline car models.

The battery rental policy from VinFast promises to help taxi businesses reduce maintenance costs or replace batteries after use. When the capacity drops below 70%, or a problem occurs that is not due to user error, the car company renews the battery system.
