The distinctive "V" logo, symbolizing the Vietnamese car company, appears on both the front and back of the car. Notably, the rear of the electric bus also has the word "Green" prominently embossed in the bottom right corner, symbolizing environmental friendliness - "For a green future" that the Vietnamese bus company aims for when decided to produce electric vehicle products.
The difference and biggest impression of VinFast electric buses is that they have no emissions and no noise. Passengers as well as other people participating in traffic will not feel motion sickness or discomfort from the smell of gasoline or noise like regular buses.
The front of the car is designed simply and modernly with the "V" logo. Above is an electronic LED board with letters informing people about the starting and ending route that the vehicle will pass through. VinFast's first electric buses will be operated by VinBus Transport Services Company Limited (part of Vingroup).
VinBus will launch the VinBus App in combination with VinID to support information about the entire city's bus route network, helping passengers look up the most optimal route information.
All bus routes will go from the station (Depo) connecting to the city center, passing through large transit points with dense population such as bus stations, schools, urban areas, hospitals, and shopping centers. ….
The "heart" of the car is the electric motor block located at the rear, the two sides are designed with steel plates with openings running across the body to both dissipate heat and create a highlight for the exterior. VinFast said that the electric bus battery used has an energy of up to 281 kWh. If charged with a 150kW charging station, it will be full in just 2 hours and capable of operating from 220 - 260km.
Vingroup's products are all smart products, with modern technology, so although the details of the equipment, engines, or batteries equipped for the car have not been announced, through exterior images, it shows that the Vietnamese car company continue to cooperate with the world's leading partners when the ZF logo - a giant in the auto industry appears on the wheel rim.
In particular, the Vietnamese car company revealed that the vehicle is also equipped with many modern technologies to ensure safety as well as provide convenient services to customers such as: Driver behavior control system, warning system, etc. Report safety risks (inattentive driving, drowsiness, fatigue); Electronic signs announce upcoming stops; Free Wifi, infotainment screen system... In addition to basically completing vehicle production, VinBus - Vingroup's electric bus operator has recruited staff and built ETC facilities and vehicles to soon put them into operation later. with the approval of a competent state agency.
First, VinBus will focus on operating in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Phu Quoc with a number of about 150-200 vehicles. Expected operating time is from 05:00 - 22:00 every day, on average every 10-20 minutes per vehicle.
On October 16, the Ministry of Transport sent a document to the People's Committees of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City agreeing with Vingroup's proposal to transport public passengers by electric buses.
