The chemical industry is a foundational sector, providing essential raw materials for many important fields such as paints, inks, paper, rubber, plastics, petrochemicals, additives, water treatment, agricultural chemicals, textiles and dyes, building materials, and a host of other industries. Because of their core role in the global supply chain, Vietnamese chemical and materials businesses are facing increasing pressure to demonstrate their capacity for environmental compliance, safety, and transparent corporate governance.
