3.1. Fabindia Primary School (India)

In addition, the school also applies the use of solar energy in nearly 90% of teaching and learning activities at the school. Knowledge about waste classification, utilizing leftover food and organic waste as fertilizer for green plants is also widely disseminated by the school to generations of students. 3.2. Heimdal High School (Norway)

Heimdal School is part of the Zero Emissions Buildings program in Norway. It is a multi-purpose green school, with spaces such as the gymnasium, dance, music and theatre all used for local community purposes. In addition, the school has a modern design, consumes 75% less energy than other buildings, and does not produce greenhouse gases during its operation. 71% of the energy used comes from geothermal heat pumps, biogas power stations and solar panels. 

3.3. University of California (USA)

The University of California in the US is one of the leading schools in efforts to implement sustainable development goals and climate change. The school owns a forest with an area of ​​up to 40 hectares, which is a shelter for more than 22.000 trees in the Mediterranean region. 

The school's training programs also focus on green education by opening many quality majors such as agricultural economics, evolutionary biology, entomology, botany and ecology. 

4. The development of green education in Vietnam

Participating in the global green education trend, Vietnam is also promoting “green school program” projects with the goal of educating the young generation on the most practical actions to deal with the current serious environmental pollution and climate change. Most of the participants in the green school program are primary and secondary schools.
