Khanh Hoa Province will be home to Vietnam's first 102 MW wind farm.

Exif Ratch Energy and Khanh Hoa province have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to develop the province's first wind power project, Nexif Energy Khanh Hoa 1, with a capacity of 102 MW.

The $155 million project is expected to produce approximately 312.500 MWh of clean energy per year, contributing to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and diversifying the region’s energy supply. It is part of the province’s overall strategy to become a major economic hub by 2030 through sustainable infrastructure development.

The project began with a survey permit in May 5 and has completed key steps, including the installation of a wind measuring mast to assess energy production. With a strong presence in Vietnam, Nexif Ratch Energy benefits from a new regulatory framework that facilitates the development of renewable energy projects in the country.
