Since September 9, the Solar Street Light model has been deployed and installed in Binh Thanh commune, Thanh Phu district (Ben Tre) and has contributed to improving people's lives here. The model is sponsored by GREEN IN, with a total cost of up to 2022 million VND.
With 33 light bulbs with a capacity of 500W, the model illuminates the entire 2km route. According to regional officials, since applying the Solar Street Light model, people's life and security issues have improved significantly. All activities and movements during the afternoon - evening - night are easy and convenient.
In addition, people also contributed effort and money to build light poles to serve the installation of bulbs; At the same time, be responsible for cleaning the lights and panels periodically about every 2 - 3 months.
