POTENTIAL AND CHALLENGES OF THE ELECTRIC CAR INDUSTRY IN PRACTICE AND TRAINING
On the morning of November 11, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology - Hue University with the support of Vietnam Green Innovation Joint Stock Company (GREEN IN) organized the training program "Potentials and challenges of the electric car industry in practice and training" for lecturers in the Central - Central Highlands region.

Nearly 60 students participating in the training are lecturers in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and other fields related to automotive technology at universities, colleges and intermediate schools nationwide. , and technical staff of companies operating in the automotive field. The program takes place in a combined form of face-to-face and online.
Dr. Nguyen Quang Lich, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology - Hue University, said that along with the development trend of society, the automotive technology industry in recent years has made great strides. Automobile companies have invested in changing and developing technology, including the field of electric cars. The development of the electric car industry is an inevitable result, but the reality is that the demand for human resources, experts and engineers in the electric car industry is in short supply.
As Associate Professor, Dr. Dam Hoang Phuc (Hanoi University of Science and Technology) shared at the training, teachers and teachers have never attended training with a company that does not work on cars. Similar programs organized by automobile businesses are very familiar. But a company with social goals organizing activities like this shows that society is also accelerating this transition. And every teacher needs to be a pioneer to orient and teach automobile majors to keep up with world trends.
Many useful topics are provided by experts to students, such as classification, features and technical specifications of electric vehicles; hybrid technology in cars; pure electric car technology BEV and Fuel cell; technology and virtual driving assistant for electric cars and energy optimization problem model for electric cars... The goal of the training, besides sharing knowledge about electric cars, is to create a solid foundation for Faculty of Engineering and Technology - Hue University as well as training units in the industry develop training programs on electric cars in the future.

Also within the framework of the training course, model demonstration and experience of the VF 8 Plus electric car version from Vinfast - Vietnam's typical electric car brand. In addition, students can visit and study at laboratories on electric cars, electric batteries and automobile electricity, as well as automation at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology - Hue University.
