The People's Committee of Binh Dinh province has just submitted to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to consider and report to the Prime Minister to request to change the purpose of using forest land to build a solar power project.
Accordingly, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province sent a proposal to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to consider and report to the Prime Minister to decide on the policy of changing the use purpose of nearly 155 hectares of forest to build a power plant. Phu My 1, Phu My 2 and Phu My 3 suns.

The project is implemented in My Thang commune and My An commune, Phu My district with a capacity of 120 MWp, land area of 123 hectares and total project investment of more than 3.000 billion VND.
After investigating the forests in the project implementation area, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province said that the land for protective forestry invested with state budget capital is Casuarina planted forest managed by the Phu My Protective Forest Management Board with area 80,42 hectares.
The protective forest land invested with other capital is invested by people and is being used with an area of 3,3 hectares.
Regarding the Phu My 2 solar power plant project, this Provincial People's Committee also proposed to consider and report to the Prime Minister to decide on the policy of changing the use purpose of 43,13 hectares of forest to implement the project.
Phu My 2 solar power is implemented in My Thang commune, Phu My district with a capacity of 110 MWp, an area of 106 hectares and a total expected investment of 2.253 billion VND.
Currently, land for protective forests is managed by the Phu My Protection Forest Management Board and is growing casuarinas with an area of 30,95 hectares and 12,18 hectares of forest land invested and in use by people.
Both of these projects have had replacement afforestation plans approved by the Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee in September 2 and are being implemented by Clean Energy Development Joint Stock Company (a member of Bamboo Capital Group). investor. The total capital of both projects is over 9 billion VND.
For the Phu My 3 solar power project, Binh Dinh also asked the central government to change the use purpose of 28,29 hectares of forest to build a solar power plant.
Phu My 3 solar power plant project is invested by Clean Energy Development Joint Stock Company (a member of Bamboo Capital Group), implemented in 2 communes My Thang and My An (Phu My district) .
The factory has a capacity of 100 MWp, a land area of 94,36 hectares with a total expected investment of more than 2.048 billion VND. The project is divided into 2 phases including: phase 1 implemented on an area of 56,84 hectares; Phase 2 is implemented on an area of 37,52 hectares.
According to the leaders of the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province, investing in the construction of Phu My 1, 2, 3 solar power projects with large capacity scale is extremely necessary, because this is a project using renewable energy. and clean, does not emit greenhouse gases, does not cause environmental pollutants.
