In Da Nang, the Electricity Regulatory Authority (ERAV) - Ministry of Industry and Trade and the German Development Cooperation Organization GIZ recently launched an online learning platform with the topic of grid connection of renewable energy sources in Vietnam.
This is an activity within the framework of the Smart Grid Application to develop renewable energy sources and efficient energy use (SGREEE) project.
Accordingly, designed specifically for Vietnam, the course will equip domestic experts with comprehensive knowledge of the challenges facing the power system when increasing the proportion of renewable energy connected to the grid, adaptation strategies and international success stories. Lecturers are leading experts from Germany and the UK.
With roadmaps, courses and modules - suitable for the learner's background knowledge, learning materials include lectures, visual illustrations and tests for each module. Students can complete the course in 2 days and can self-adjust their progress and receive a certificate upon completion. In early 2021, GIZ will conduct many in-depth courses on this topic.
According to the representative of the SGREEE project: "Vietnam will gradually increase the proportion of renewable energy connected to the grid, so many issues need to be resolved, including capacity building. Due to the Covid-19 epidemic, online learning will reach more students and personalize the learning path. When applying this knowledge to work, students will contribute to stabilizing the national power grid."
