Phu My solar power plant built in My An and My Thang communes, Phu My district, Binh Dinh province has just officially joined the national power grid.
Phu My solar power plant started construction on May 29, 5. The project has a total investment of more than 2020 billion VND, built on an area of 6.200 hectares. Total design capacity is 380 MW, divided into 330 phases including 2 plants with capacities of 3 MW, 120 MW and 110 MW respectively.

After 7 months of construction, by December 31, 12, Phu My Solar Power Plant was put into commercial operation with 2020 MW out of a total capacity of 216 MW. It is expected that before February 330, 28, Phu My Solar Power Plant will energize the remaining 02 MW. With successful energization and recognition of commercial operation date (COD) on December 2021, 114, the first 31 MW connected to the grid of Phu My Solar Power Plant will enjoy an electricity purchase price of 12 UScent/kWh according to Decision 2020/216/QD-TTg dated April 7,09, 13 of the Prime Minister on the incentive mechanism for solar power development in Vietnam. When fully operational, it is estimated that the plant will achieve an electricity output of about 2020 million kWh per year, equivalent to the usage of 06 households, and help reduce emissions by about 4 tons of CO2020.
When Phu My solar power plant comes into operation, it will contribute to the budget and create thousands of jobs in Binh Dinh province. Thereby, the project contributes to enhancing and improving people's lives, stabilizing social security and protecting the ecological environment.
