Specifically, the development of the 1.000 ha VSIP Binh Duong area (park III) VSIP Binh Duong (park III) co-developed by Sembcorp and Becamex IDC (Becamex) will begin implementation. Sembcorp will explore the possibility of providing a range of sustainable solutions such as micro-grid integrated solar power, energy storage, wastewater treatment and electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
Sembcorp will cooperate with Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) to promote Vietnam's economic growth and green sustainable development through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
Established the EIU-Sembcorp Center for Sustainable Solutions through a Memorandum of Understanding with Eastern International University of Vietnam (EIU).
These commitments pursue the common goal of promoting sustainable solutions to support the clean energy transition and strengthen human resources for the solar energy industry in Vietnam.
The decision to research and establish the Vietnam-Singapore i4.0 Innovation Center at EIU will also be implemented through VSIP and Memorandum of Understanding with EIU, Becamex, Singapore International Polytechnic University and Transformation Alliance Smart i4.0 is headquartered in Singapore (SiTA).
With the goal of accelerating the adoption of industry 4.0 (i4.0) technology in Vietnam's manufacturing industry, plans are being made for the Center, co-sponsored by VSIP and Becamex, to train students at EIU, supported by Singapore Polytechnic International University and SiTA.
The center will also train, consult, and provide the best products and services for small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises based in VSIP and Becamex industrial parks. Thereby, we will apply appropriate i4.0 solutions to improve operational efficiency and build an ecosystem for a future-ready workforce in this field.

Sembcorp is also expanding its investment scale in renewable energy in Vietnam. In December 12, Sembcorp announced a cooperation agreement with BCG Energy to jointly explore and develop a portfolio of up to 2021 GW of wind and solar energy projects in Vietnam.
