Welcome to Vietnam Green Innovations Joint Stock Company (GREEN IN) - The leading social enterprise in Net Zero Training and Green Transition Consulting
The Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) is a new mechanism of the European Union (EU) to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from products imported into the EU. This mechanism is considered as a mirror of the EU ETS for goods produced outside the EU imported into the EU. CBAM has officially come into effect and implemented the Transitional Period from October 10 and importers will officially have to "pay" for greenhouse gas emissions exceeding the EU's limit from 2023. Therefore, CBAM has, is and will affect Vietnamese enterprises exporting to the EU.
This GREEN IN course will help you answer the questions: What are the provisions of CBAM? How to calculate emissions and declare CBAM? How does CBAM impact businesses? And most importantly: What should businesses do to prepare for CBAM to be more widely applied?
